Q&A: Simon Harper
Where were you born?
I vividly remember how I found out the story of my birth. I’d just
come in from the cold one winter’s day, and innocently left the door
open, when the bombshell was dropped that I’d been born in a barn. At
first I was afraid; I was petrified what others would think, but I
grew to accept it. And if it was good enough for Jesus, it was good
enough for me. (According to my birth certificate I was born at
Walsgrave Hospital in Coventry, but I suspect this was a fabrication
to conceal the humbling truth).
